There will be a party going on in your tenth house of fame, honors, awards, and achievement this month, but before you can get to celebrate all the news that will be happening in your career, you will have to deal with an important and somewhat nerve-jangling eclipse, April 4 in Libra, 14 degrees.
This full moon total eclipse will light your real estate, home, and family sector, so apparently a lot is going on there or soon will be. Even if you have been working on your home, something new is bound to come up at this April 4 eclipse (plus or minus seven days). This is a full moon, so a matter is reaching culmination, and perhaps you will soon need to make a decision or plan an action as a result of what comes up.
If you have a roommate or share your space with a female family member, with a lunar eclipse (considered feminine) that person may be “eclipsed out” and move out - you will either have more space or want to look for a replacement roommate. The need for all of us to make adjustments is very common at eclipse time.
You are Cancer, ruled by the moon, so lunar eclipses have a stronger effect on you than most other aspects. This moment will be an emotional one, for Uranus, the planet of all things unexpected, will oppose this eclipse precisely, making for a jarring situation. There appears to be an intense push-pull between your private home life and your public career life this month, with authority figures in both places seeming to need you at once.
If your birthday falls on or within five days of July 6, you will feel the April 4 eclipse the most. Also look to see if you have a natal planet at 14 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, for if your birthday does fall on July 6, you will still feel this somewhat nerve-wracking full moon. (It gives me no pleasure to tell you this - I just feel in my own life, I would rather know what’s about to come up than not know.)
Near April 4, you will have to focus on home and family or other property that you may have already or hope to have, say if you want to rent a vacation home in coming months. Don’t worry that you will be neglecting your career, because you will have time to resume your work there within days. If your physical home is not your focus, it may be a family matter that comes up that requires a quick response. The job of an eclipse is to provide full disclosure, so information you did not have before is likely to come out and come at you very fast. The new information will change the entire complexion of the situation and the way you perceive it, possibly quite dramatically.
Making this eclipse a bit more complicated is that Pluto, now in your seventh house of partnership / marriage / committed / legal / business relationships, will be quite cranky at this eclipse, suggesting that just when you need support the most from a partner, it is unlikely you will get it. Be prepared. If you can’t rally your partner’s support, you can go it alone. You ARE strong enough to do so. With the Sun under some duress from Pluto, I suspect you may have an expense related to your home that may come up out of nowhere.
Still, although Pluto seems angry at every planet, he will only be angry at the lunar eclipse and the planets in your career house, the Sun, Uranus, and Mercury. (Watch April 5 as a tough day for you to meet with an authority figure.) However Pluto WON’T be angry with Venus, and that’s good news, because this eclipse is in Libra, and Venus is the ruler of Libra. Venus represents women in a chart - it is a feminine influence - so a woman friend may come and help untangle things for you, and you should let her help you.
Although you will have to take your eyes off the road at work for a few days, you won’t lose anything by doing so. You have a crown of glittering stars at the tiptop of your chart’s most prestigious and honorable career sector. By some miracle, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will beam his golden vibrations to the Sun, Uranus, and Mercury, protecting your income - in fact you may come away with more income.
Watch April 2 for an exceptionally special day to improve your cash flow. It is a perfect day to have an important sales call, to make a presentation, to schedule a job interview, or to agree to have a performance review with your boss. This is also a day - April 2 - when romance may be like perfume in the air for you, surrounding you in a heavenly aura.
Watch April 6 for a day that surprises you at work, affecting your reputation - it could be far better than anything you anticipate. Or, just the opposite, something may go off the rails. You do need to be ready for anything, but I have a hunch that professional news may be quite upbeat for you.
On April 7, Mercury will be in hard angle to Pluto, so if you are upset with a VIP, refrain from saying anything impulsive. On this day, the less said, the better.
On April 8, more career surprises - and at the same time, with Mercury conjunct Uranus, your resourcefulness, originality, and creativity will be hitting all-time highs. If you write for a living, or are part of the communication process, then double what I just said.
Jupiter will go direct on April 8, having been retrograde and weak since the start of December 2014. This is great news, for from now on, all the hard work you’ve done will start to add up to solid compensation. Jupiter will not retrograde again the rest of 2015. Keep in mind that Jupiter will orbit in your earned income house until August 11, so before mid-August, I feel you should put the pedal to the medal and go for the gold. If you focus on making more money, you will, dear Cancer.
The new moon April 18 will be a big boost to your career - that’s when you will see even MORE career action and success than I have been alluding to so far in your April report. You only get one new moon a year in your prestigious house of status and professional advancement, and here it comes. In the two weeks to come, you will have a sterling opportunity to either be approved for a promotion or be offered a new position. If you are self-employed, you can bring in a client that will have the industry talking about you for quite a while.
Mars, the ruler of your career status, found now at the tiptop of your chart, is currently in Taurus, suggesting that the more practical, objective, and financially aware of the client’s budgetary concerns that you are now, the more quickly you will get approvals. If you have a birthday that falls on or very close to July 21, you may see some dramatic and exciting changes on the career front. Remember, this is a new moon, not an eclipse on April 18, so it will open a door - your job will be to find the opportunities, for they will be there. Eclipses set up a very liquid situation, where others in the marketplace are playing musical chairs. This is all so very positive for you.
